For hardest conditions - Joker HD
The Joker HD proves its strengths especially in hard operating conditions. Now, the series has been revised comprehensively to ensure even greater performance.
The new Joker HD was developed based on clear customer requests: larger disc diameters, an option for front tools, and greater application flexibility. The result is a compact disc harrow that shows its strengths especially in demanding conditions, e.g. with high amounts of organic matter on the fields, extremely dry and hard soils, or if high operational speeds are required.
Changed disc angle
A key element of the revision is the new disc angle which allow for incorporating organic matter even more intensively. Two different disc diameters are available depending on the desired working depth: 620 mm discs for working depths of up to approximately 15 cm and new 680 mm discs for deeper work up to 20 cm. The shape of the discs, well-known from the Tiger MT, ensures safe soil penetration with an at the same time long service life. As with all Joker models, two discs are controlled by a wide, rubber-mounted arm ensuring maximum clearance with minimal blocking. The high machine weight and the stable design ensure precise control of the discs, even in hardest operating conditions.
In initial tests, the machine has already impressively demonstrated its enormous clearance. The excellent incorporation of large quantities of organic matter was also convincing.
Increased user-friendliness
Like the Joker RT, the new Joker HD can be equipped with a knife roller or a Crossbar. Combined with the knife roller, the compact disc harrow is ideal for large catch crop populations and for incorporating organic fertilisers and crop residues, such as maize residues. The Crossbar is used for effective seedbed preparation with intensive tillage. This makes the machine even more versatile.
For a significantly better adaptation to different requirements, the modified packer frame now can be equipped with a wider selection of packers. A wide selection of single and double packers offers an ideal complement and allows for optimally adapting the machine to the site. A new folding concept and a revised frame design increase user-friendliness and simplify operation.
With working widths from 4.15 to 6.15 m, the Joker HD is ideal for almost all farm sizes. It plays a central role in regions where grain maize and sunflower are grown as well as on very dry sites where conventional compact disc harrows reach their limits.
