The Leeb CT is a versatile Combination Tank that allows for efficient and effective working due to its large tank capacity and the compatibility with various mounted HORSCH implement.
The Leeb CT was specifically developed to be used as a combination tank with various mounted implements. The focus is on the possibility of sensibly complementing existing technology and using it more flexibly. The front tank is ideal for farms that want to apply liquid fertiliser, plant protection agents or biostimulants in a single pass with a single grain seeder, drill or while hoeing.
Combination options
In the crop care sector, the Leeb CT can currently be combined with the mounted Leeb CS sprayer creating a powerful and versatile combination.
Furthermore, the HORSCH Leeb CT can be used solo and can be combined with almost any implement that is mounted in the rear to apply liquid products. With a universally retrofittable circulation and section valve in the rear of a mounted implement, the range of applications is expanded enormously, regardless of the manufacturer.
With the Maestro single grain seed drills, a single hose per row can be attached for application into the seed row or liquid underground fertiliser coulters can be fitted. With a distribution system on the machine, in combination with the Leeb CT, liquid fertiliser for example can be applied in the row for starter nutrient supply or higher quantities can be applied as underground fertilisation. When sowing soybeans, for example, inoculants can be applied into the seed furrow at the same time by combining the machine with the front tank. Liquid hoses are available for the Maestro RV/RX and Maestro TV/TX models, for example. The row hosing can also be retrofitted to older Maestro models.
To combine the CT with the Transformer VF, you can choose between different application options. With both the EdgeOn point and the angle point, liquid fertiliser or other soil additives, biostimulants and similar products can be applied directly behind the hoe point at the set working depth. Depending on the crop, the row spacing and individual requirements, one or two application points per hoeing row can be selected: either centred on the middle point of the hoeing unit or on the left or right point so that application is carried out as close as possible to the plant row.
High capacity
The Leeb CT is available with tank capacities of 1,400, 1,800 and 2,400 l. This makes it one of the largest front tanks on the market. Despite its high capacity, the design is compact, it is easy to handle and improves the balance of the tractor due to the position of its centre of gravity. The front tank balances the weight of the mounted implement in the rear and improves the driving characteristics of the combination.
The tank is equipped with a hydraulically driven pump in two sizes for precise metering, an integrated water circuit and a flushing option in the dome. With the 180 l fresh water tank, nothing stands in the way of reliable cleaning. Operation, too, is very easy: with the standard coupling triangle, mounting and dismantling can be carried out quickly and without an additional coupling of lines. Operation is carried out via the ISOBUS I-Manager interface.
An optional, certified camera system improves road safety. With two lenses and a separate monitor, the driver has a clear view of the traffic area in front of the tractor – a particular advantage at blind intersections or junctions. In addition, LED apron lighting ensures clear visibility in the dark or in the case of poor lighting conditions.
With the Leeb CT and its large tank capacity, compact design and practical equipment, farmers can use their technology effectively and flexibly.
