Maestro TX: Flexible and reliable

The Maestro TX is the latest addition to the well-proven product line. It mainly excels due to its flexibility with regard to row spacings and to the precise work.

The Maestro TX benefits from the experiences of the larger Maestro lines. The TX is the new, compact single grain seed drill for 3-point linkage. Is does not only excel due to its precise and easy singulation of all crops with the AirSpeed overpressure system but also due to the flexible row widths. The hydraulic telescopic slide frame allows for working widths between 2.60 m and 4.80 m.
The Maestro is available as a 6 and a 7 row version. For the 6 TX, all current row spacings between 45 and 80 cm can be adjusted in 5 cm steps. For the 7 TX, the maximum row spacing amounts to 65 cm. By deactivating the middle row, you can sow with six rows and row spacings of 75 and 80 cm. Moreover, it is possible to work with a row spacing of 37.5 cm or 40 cm. The spacing can be adjusted quickly and easily and can later be moved hydraulically to the set spacing. The Maestro is ideal for sowing current single grain crops as well as for a more specific use. This variety allows farmers to use the machine to its optimum capacity.

In addition, the Maestro TX can be equipped with the coulter pressure regulation system AutoForce. The system adapts the coulter pressure within the field to ensure the ideal depth for every grain as well as a simultaneous emergence of the plants. Thus a constant sowing quality can be guaranteed even in changing soils. Moreover, high coulter pressures allow for direct seeding and mulch seeding.
The TX is the first Maestro to be controlled via the new operation system I-Manager. It offers a configurable user interface and more options for displaying the machines as well as an easy reconfiguration of the adjusted row widths.

Heavy soils – precise sowing

The Maestro TX is the most versatile HORSCH single grain seed drill. “We have been waiting for this Maestro version for quite some time. With the Maestro TX, we can reach a completely new clientele“, Martin Kramer from the HORSCH sales team explains. Due to the flexibility, the compactness and the wide range of applications, there is a large market for the TX especially in Europe.

Quick facts

  • Variably movable telescopic frame
  • Utmost efficiency due to AirSpeed with up to 15 km/h
  • Integrated 1 300 l fertiliser tank with half-width control
  • Microgranular tanks at the row with a capacity of 20 l each and SectionControl

The machine excels due to its high stability and is an excellent option for farmers in markets with heavy soils like Hungary, Serbia, Croatia or Slovenia. The more so as in these regions it optimally matches the farm sizes and the existing tractors.
In the southeast of Austria, too, the soils are heavy and clayey. Farmers over there often struggle with dry periods in spring which contribute to the hardening of the soil. The Maestro TX is ideal for these heavy soils. The system allows for perfectly placing and embedding the seed even in difficult conditions.
Because of these conditions, not only the precision but also the flexibility of the Maestro TX are in great demand:
“The variable row widths are a great help in these agricultural businesses as the numerous crops have to be sown with different row widths. The Maestro TX optimally meets these requirements. The weight of the machine supports the embedding of the grain in heavy soils. In spring 2023, we carried out a lot of demonstrations. The farmers were highly pleased with the easy operation and the work result”, Martin Kramer confirms.
