Specialist program during the winter months
In the past years, HORSCH Live and the HORSCH Seminars have become fixed dates in the event calendar. This winter, both formats will once again take place – with one small change.

For this year's series, the presentations for the digital event will be produced in the HORSCH Studio for the first time. The container offers the ideal conditions for high-quality recordings. The specialist presentations will be streamed on three Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m. on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and the HORSCH website. A special feature of the format is that the speakers will be available for questions during the stream via chat to encourage direct exchange about the topic and answer questions.
The livestreams will kick off on 9th December 2025, with Ferenc Kornis, Managing Director of N.U. Agrar, giving a presentation on “Sunflower cultivation strategy – Is sunflower an alternative to rapeseed cultivation?”. This will be followed on 16th December 2025 by a presentation held by Maxime Stöckle from Hanse Agro. He will speak about the topic of “Grasses under control – direct seeding as a component of weed management?!”
After the Christmas break, on 13th January 2026, Aline Koch (University of Regensburg) will give a presentation on “Sustainable and specific control of plant diseases by means of RNA sprays: Innovative solutions for the agriculture of tomorrow.”
All presentations will also be available online after the stream. Participation is free of charge and possible via the familiar HORSCH channels.
HORSCH Seminar
HORSCH Seminars offer the ideal opportunity to directly exchange ideas with experts and farmers. On 14th January 2026, the traditional social evening will take place at Sitzenhof inviting the guests to discuss in a relaxed atmosphere. The traditional seminar part will follow the next day (15th January 2025). Among others, the speakers are Gerrit Hogrefe from N.U. Agrar (How do we deal with grasses? Do we have to rethink and redesign our production technology?), Cort Brinkmann from LBB (Maximum yield or savings? What leads to success?) and Michael Horsch (The next step is “equalization”.).

The second part of the event series will take place on 27th January 2026 in Linstow. Gerrit Hogrefe will give a presentation on the topic of “Blackgrass and co – How much can we tolerate and are new approaches in sight?” Bernhard Bauer from HSWT will also speak in Linstow as will Constantin Horsch on the topic of “The challenge of alternating drought and wet conditions – HORSCH tillage strategies – What do we see in other countries?”. In addition, Stefanie Strebel (Ceresal GmbH) will give a presentation on “The current market situation for cereals and oilseeds and strategic marketing.”. Further speakers will follow.
