Versa – HORSCH power harrow combinations
At HORSCH, the name Versa stands for precise seeding technology in combination with a power harrow. The product line impresses due to its reliability even in adverse conditions.
Since the Agritechnica 2024, Versa has been standing for the HORSCH power harrow combinations. The objective was to provide an optimum solution for a wide range of farm sizes and site conditions. So far, the range includes the Versa 6 SW seed wagon combination and the 3-point versions Versa 6 SL and Versa 3 KR.
The unique feature of the product line is the power harrow Kredo which ensures an intensive seedbed preparation in different conditions. The solid power harrow is equipped with ten rotors on a working width of 3 metres and impresses due to its easy operation, high reliability and long service life. The packer behind the power harrow ensures a targeted consolidation in front of the seed coulters. There are two options: The tooth packer roller is ideal for all conditions. The teeth of the packer leave a crumbly structure and sufficient fine soil. The trapeze ring packer ensures a targeted consolidation in front of each seed row. This results in a perfect consolidation of the seed furrow even in difficult and changing conditions.
The Versa family excels due to its precision in difficult conditions. For the Versa 6 SW, the hydraulically pre-tensioned tyre packer ensures that the weight of the machine is distributed across the entire working width, thus avoiding deep tracks. This is a major advantage especially in wet conditions.
The Versa 3 KR is equipped with the innovative SmartClip metering system which allows for increased flexibility with regard to tramline control, row spacings and the application of a wide range of seeds.
Two double disc coulters are used in the Versa: the TurboDisc coulter which has been tried and tested on the market for over 20 years is available in all Versa versions. Moreover, the press wheel controlled coulter design allows for a quick adaptation to the soil contours at high speeds. Based on the well-proven components of the TurboDisc coulter, the lighter DuoDisc coulter was developed which has been available on the Versa 3 KR for several years and provided optimum results in the DLG test report mentioned below.
Power harrow Kredo HD
The Kredo HD is the new power harrow combination made by HORSCH. This update optimises the well-proven technology and takes it to a new level.

The flexible and easily adjustable power harrows are ideal for both good as well as poor conditions. It mainly shows its strengths in difficult seeding conditions, for example in wet conditions, with a high stone content or quite classically late in autumn when sowing after grain maize or sugar beet.
The large clearance and finely crumbled seedbed preparation of the tines ensure precise seeding in a wide range of conditions."
Versa 3 KR: DLG-APPROVED
The mechanical seed drill HORSCH Versa 3 KR convinced the jury in test according to the criteria defined in the DLG test framework (DLG test report 7413). Based on the results achieved, the drill was awarded the test mark "DLG-APPROVED" in the categories "Function and quality of work" and "Handling, operation and maintenance". The Versa 3 KR did not only impress due to its functionality and quality of work but also excelled in the sectors handling, operation and maintenance.
