40 years HORSCH: a milestone of co-operation

In 2024, HORSCH celebrates its 40th anniversary. Within the scope of this anniversary, sales partners and customers from all over the world came to Sitzenhof to get to know the roots of the company and to discuss current and future topics.

The HORSCH Maschinen GmbH was founded in 1984. Since then, the company has been growing all over the world what is mainly due to the constant development of new innovative technologies and solutions for arable farming. In 2024, HORSCH celebrates its 40th anniversary.

Right from the start, the success has been based on the network of customers, sales partners and the company. The cornerstone of this triangle is a constant and direct communication. Thus, events were held at the Sitzenhof as part of the anniversary celebrations during which the sales partners and customers did not only learn about the history but above all about current developments and future topics.

Working together

Under the motto "40 years - we could only make it this far together", sales partners came to the Sitzenhof, the founding location of HORSCH. "It is an honour and a pleasure for us to share this moment with you. Together we have celebrated many success stories and have always looked to the future with optimism," Cornelia Horsch said in her welcoming speech. The focus was not on the past 40 years, but on future opportunities.
Especially in the past years, it became clear that the trade sector has to specialise more and more. Product ranges become larger and the individual products increasingly complex. In this respect, HORSCH would like to support its sales partners with professional training - both in the sales and the service sector. In addition to providing an insight into the company, the event also focussed on defining common success factors and their future development. Current projects from the digitisation sector were also presented to ensure that the company is well prepared for future topics. The requirements of the individual generations, too, were discussed in detail in order to address them specifically and, above all, to reach future customers accordingly.

Practical days at the Sitzenhof

The special close contact to the customers and the strong agronomic background of the events have been characterising HORSCH since its foundation. This was also reflected in the Practical Field Days that took place at the Sitzenhof from April to July as part of the anniversary celebrations. The participants were not only given an insight into the company and the production but were also able to see and discuss current tests in the demo garden. Well-proven technology and innovative new products were presented in practical use during a machine demonstration. Moreover, current developments and specific advantages of digital solutions were presented in speeches.

The objective for the future is clear: "We want to be even closer to our customers, understand them better and constantly develop new solutions."
